Winter 2010
Winter fishing is in full swing and it has been great! There is solid Striped Bass Fishing on the Cape Fear River and I have been doing some insane ocean front Red Drum fishing! There has literally been multiple schools of hundreds of top of the slot (and over) fish! It will blow your mind to see hundreds of these fish around the boat in crystal clear water, I personally guarantee it.
Great fly fishing opportunities!! Calm seas and light and slight wind is imperative along with a few other variables, give me a call if this is something you would like to do and I will be glad to let you know when we get a window of opportunity.
Striper fishing will remain good through out the rest of the winter and it is the best bang for the buck this time of year and can be done in pretty much all "fishable" weather.
